Man of My Dreams

If you told me to picture

the man of my dreams,

I’d tell you that he

looks something like this:

bright, green eyes;

perfect, half-moon ears;

broad chest;

sculpted arms;

steady hands;

and mile-long legs.

If you asked me to describe

the man of my dreams,

I’d tell you that he

makes me feel like this:

seen clearly without judgement;

heard, understood, and validated;

surrounded by the love swelling his heart;

protected from all threats;

comforted and never alone;

and important enough for him

to run home to me every day.
